Overview
Mica tape is a widely used insulating material. It has excellent mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. And it is made by combining muscovite or phlogopite paper with an adhesive and then attaching it to non-soda glass cloth before being baked and cut into tape form. Its ability to withstand high temperatures up to 800℃ makes it particularly suitable for use in electric motors, electric appliances, and fireproof wires.

Features and Benefits of mica cable tape
Mica cable tape has excellent properties such as fire resistance and acid, alkali, corona and radiation resistances. The fire resistant mica has complete in-combustibility and high heat resistance. The fire resistant mica tapes used in the cable structure with heat proof plastic sheath can reduce and prevent the generation and dispersion of the toxic smoke and gas during the burning of the cable.
Phlogopite mica tapes with glass cloth single side is widely used in relevant locations related to fire control safety and rescue in high-rise buildings, subways, underground streets, large power stations and important industrial and mining enterprises, for example, the firefighting equipment and the power supply and control circuits in emergency facilities such as emergency guiding lights.
